New research recently released by Accenture, in partnership with Disability:IN and the American Association of People with Disabilities, indicates that companies who employ and support workers with disabilities outperform their peers. The report entitled, Getting to Equal: The Disability Inclusion Advantage, examined whether or not there is a positive correlation between a company’s disability inclusion efforts and its financial performance. Its results found a correlation, indicating that corporate leaders in disability inclusion have 28% higher revenue, twice the net income and 30% higher economic profit margins than their peers.
